Principal Ashley Thompson proudly leads the Texans at Long Elementary School. With almost 20 years of experience in education, including one year in Lamar CISD, she has served as a teacher, instructional coach, and assistant principal. Mrs. Thompson is a graduate of Prairie View A&M University and the University of Houston–Clear Lake. As a wife, mother, and dedicated educator, Mrs. Thompson is passionate about creating a culture of excellence where every student is supported, challenged, and inspired to succeed. Her leadership is rooted in building strong relationships, maintaining high expectations, and ensuring that all students have the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
